Purchase and Return Policy

 Sorry. Barking Dog Guitar Traders does not sell or ship outside the domestic USA or Canada.

No merchandise purchased by personal check will be shipped or released from premises until your check has cleared and is on deposit.

Special Orders –  we require Payment In Full at time of order

Custom Guitar Brokerage Orders require 60% deposit at time of order (subject to builders policy)

Return Policy:
Any Guitar Returns must be authorized by the store.

We are happy to have all guitars covered by a 24 hour approval period, starting with confirmed reciept by the customer.

Guitars returned within the 24-hour approval period are refunded in full, MINUS shipping charges, and in the case of credit card purchases,  MINUS a 3% transaction fee to cover charges incurred by BDGT.

Any Guitars returned after the 24-hour Approval Period, are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.
Instrument must be returned in same condition as shipped.
Buyer is responsible for the instrument during approval period.
Shipping and related expenses are non-refundable.
Buyer pays for prompt return shipping.
Item must be shipped back via a service comparable with which it was delivered, immediately upon return authorization.

ALL used amplifiers are checked to be fully functional, but are sold "AS IS". Amplifier shipping can be very costly, so we recommend in-store pickup. Buyer pays shipping and insurance, and buyer assumes all risk. ALL amps MUST be shipped insured, and are shipped at buyers risk.

Purchases other than instruments,  may be returned or exchanged for store credit  or merchandise for a period of 30 days from original sale, when returned in the original undamaged/un-modified condition, and accompanied by original receipt.

All returns of instruments for credit after 24 hours are subject to a 20% Re-Stocking Fee.

Strings and Accessories  subject to a 10% Re-stocking Fee.  Strings and Accessories will only be exchanged only if in the original un-opened packaging.

Returns are for store credit or merchandise only.

Customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance fees..

The  Shop Rate Page "Minimum Service Fee" will be charged for all repair estimates, Repairs and Tech Services,  and Appraisals.

Shipping Policies...

Fedex Ground is our preferred method of shipment, but we can also ship via the carrier of your choice.

All shipping and insurance charges are to be paid by the purchaser.

ALL instruments must be insured at shipment, unless waived by the customer. Waivered shipments are at the customers risk. Barking Dog Guitars will assume no liability or responsibilty for un-insured shipping.

Shipping charges will be  based on actual costs for packaging and carrier fees.
